Firearms & Training Policy
Rock City Defense facilitates firearms training through organized range days, providing a space for skill development and practice. While we do not offer formal instruction, we encourage responsible firearm handling and peer support within our events.
Experience Level: No prior firearms experience is required to attend range events. If you are new to firearms, we encourage you to let us know in advance so we can help facilitate an introduction. You may be paired with an experienced participant to help you get comfortable with handling a firearm. Rock City Defense does not provide formal safety instruction and assumes no liability.
Bringing Firearms & Ammunition: Participants may bring their own firearms and ammunition but must provide advance notice. Firearms must be unloaded and either holstered or in a case when arriving at the range.
Carrying Weapons at Events: Carrying a weapon at events is permitted. However, when transporting a weapon from one location to another within the range, it must be holstered or in a case.
Field Operations: Some operations may involve firearms outside of designated shooting ranges. However, only designated individuals, chosen for their skills, knowledge, and experience are permitted to carry in these scenarios.
Balaclavas On Trend: We encourage our units to utilize N95 masks for health and security reasons. Some of us are in the public eye, which can't be helped. Everyone else should keep as low of a profile as possible.
If you’re not with us, don’t speak for us.
