FAQ
Who can join Rock City Defense events?
We prefer participants to be 18 and up. Minors may attend if they are accompanied by an adult.
What should I bring to training sessions?
- Firearms Training: If you don’t own a firearm, earplugs and safety glasses are recommended.
- Martial Arts Training: Wear tight-fitting but flexible clothing (like Under Armour or similar gear) that allows movement without tearing.
- General Training: As you progress, we’ll help you find the right tactical gear and weapons for your needs.
Are masks required?
Yes, we strongly prefer that participants wear an N95 mask or better to protect our units from COVID, flu, and potential H5N1 (bird flu) exposure. Masks don’t just protect against germs—they also protect against surveillance. No face, no case.
How much do events cost?
Some events are free, but most are ticket-based. We aim to keep our events as accessible as possible. If you can’t afford a ticket, send us a message, and we’ll see if we have the funds to cover it. We can’t accommodate everyone, but we do our best to be fair.
What are the rules on photos and videos?
We do not have strict rules, but we ask that you DO NOT record anyone’s face without their express permission. Protecting each other’s privacy is essential.
